Muscat: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the safe return of 181 Omani citizens, along with a number of foreign nationals, who were evacuated from the Iranian city of Mashhad. The group was transported via the Republic of Turkmenistan and arrived by air at Muscat International Airport.

The evacuation is part of Oman’s broader plan to support its citizens during times of regional tension and uncertainty. Authorities coordinated closely to ensure the safe transit and smooth arrival of all passengers, reflecting the country’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian response and international cooperation.
