MUSCAT: The town of Al Waqba in the Wilayat of Yanqul saw moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail, leading to the formation of floods in parts of the area. Scattered showers were also reported in the nearby villages of Hali and Wadi Al Harim.
In the Wilayat of Ibri, rainfall extended to the towns of Al Hajr and Al Shuhum, where a number of valleys began flowing as a result of the downpour.
