Muscat: The closure, which includes both partial and full road shutdowns, will affect traffic adjacent to Sultan Qaboos Street.
In coordination with the Royal Oman Police, the Muscat Municipality will execute a staged closure of Al Khuwair Service Road to facilitate ongoing development of the Al Khuwair Road Corridor in Wilayat Bousher. The partial road closure will commence on the morning of Sunday, June 1, and continue through Monday, June 2, 2025.
A complete closure of the service road is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, for one day only. The affected area lies adjacent to the busy Sultan Qaboos Street, a key arterial road in the capital. A map issued by the authorities highlights the working zone in red and provides clearly marked alternative routes in green to aid commuters.
