Muscat – According to the statement released on Wednesday, May 28, the Mission acknowledged the difficulty and spiritual significance of the journey undertaken by pilgrims from the Sultanate of Oman to perform the blessed Hajj.
The statement explained that the Mission had been closely monitoring the situation involving the bus drivers of the land convoys transporting Omani pilgrims. Early coordination was carried out with the concerned authorities in Saudi Arabia to resolve procedural issues, which has since led to the approval for the buses and their drivers to proceed.
“The Oman Hajj Mission appreciates the trouble and hardship of travel to perform the blessed Hajj pilgrimage for all the Guests of the Most Gracious from the Sultanate of Oman. The mission would like to inform you that it has closely followed the situation of the drivers of the buses of the Omani pilgrims traveling by land to the Holy Lands at the Miqat of Al-Sail Al-Kabeer. It has communicated early on with the relevant authorities to complete the procedures, which resulted in the approval to start allowing the passage of bus drivers. We ask Allah Almighty to accept the Hajj of the Guests of the Most Gracious, and to facilitate for them to perform the Hajj rituals with ease and peace of mind,” said the statement.
