Addressing the press conference, Dr. Hamad bin Hamdan Al Rubaie, Chairman of the Board of the Oman Lawyers Association, pointed out that Fak Kurba, over its 12 editions, has helped 8,180 beneficiaries, reinforcing the deep-rooted values of compassion, solidarity, and second chances in Omani society.
“This is not just about numbers… It is about lives restored, families reunited, and a community that stands together to ensure no one is left behind,” he stated.
The initiative, launched under the supervision of the Oman Lawyers Association, is a hallmark of humanitarian giving in the Sultanate, made possible through the active participation of individuals, institutions, and widespread media involvement.
Governorates with the highest number of released cases included North Al Batinah (334), followed by Muscat (242), and Ad Dakhiliyah (102).
The initiative continues to serve as a beacon of hope, embodying the message that everyone deserves a second chance.
