Muscat – Titled ‘Classroom to Factory Floor: Education-Industry Collaboration’, the session, organized in partnership with The Arabian Stories (TAS) as the online media partner, attracted notable participation from academics, experts, and industry leaders, sparking rich discussions and active engagement.
The event served as a platform to explore how strategic partnerships between Omani schools, colleges, universities, and businesses can support national development goals and better prepare graduates for the job market.
A key message of the Duqm Now session was that partnerships with higher education institutions are a strategic necessity for developing national competencies, strengthening the innovation ecosystem, and aligning educational outcomes with the evolving needs of the labour market.
