Muscat – Speaking at a press conference in Muscat, His Excellency stated that the platform is now technically and legislatively ready and has begun offering its digital services to regulate the Omani health insurance market.
Speaking at the launch event, His Excellency highlighted that Dhamani represents a qualitative leap in the development of the Omani health insurance market by leveraging digital transformation to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and integration of this vital sector.
The platform connects all licensed insurance institutions in Oman along with 33 private hospitals — representing 100 percent of all private hospitals licensed by the Ministry of Health — and currently includes three private health complexes, with more expected to join in the near future.

During its pilot phase, ‘Dhamani’ demonstrated high levels of digital performance and reliability, completing nearly 3 million health insurance transactions in the first quarter of 2025 alone, involving insurance companies and private healthcare institutions.
The launch aligns with the FSA’s broader national strategy to enhance digital infrastructure across key economic sectors. His Excellency noted that the platform is part of the Authority’s vision to build a trusted and integrated digital insurance ecosystem that facilitates coordination between healthcare providers, insurers, claims management firms, and regulatory bodies — serving both citizens and residents.
‘Dhamani’ is expected to play a central role in supporting Oman’s shift towards a modernized, efficient, and transparent health insurance framework, while also reducing administrative burdens and improving service delivery across the board.
