Muscat – The prestigious exhibition brings together inventors, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation enthusiasts from across the globe.

This participation serves as a significant platform for Omani innovators to present their creations to an international audience, fostering competition and facilitating valuable connections with investors and entrepreneurs.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation had, earlier this year, announced the four projects shortlisted to represent the Sultanate of Oman in the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025.

The four shortlisted projects were presented by:
· Mahmoud Al Hinai, who devised a new cleaning and sterilization system for air-conditioning.
· Layan Al Rahbi, who developed a language application to bridge the communication gap between “the deaf and mute” and the rest of society.
· Dr. Huda Ali Al Hosni, who developed an application named “Scientific Traveller” to provide alternative visions for some natural tourist sites in Oman.
· Mu’ayad Sameer Al Balushi, who devised an SOS salvage system for fishing boats. His project offers an innovative solution to enhance maritime safety and ensure the wellbeing of fishermen in the Sultanate of Oman and the GCC region.
The International Exhibition of Inventions is the biggest annual event to be exclusively devoted to inventions. The event will bring together exhibitors from over 35 countries and region; it will feature more than 1,000 inventions presented by exhibitors from around the world.
