MUSCAT: Syed Ahmad Salman has been elected as the new chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD) of 21 Indian Schools in Oman.
Salman, who was also the former Vice-Chairman of the BOD, was elected after securing 8 votes out of 14 in the elections. Among those in the new BOD are Damodar R Katti, Shameer PTK, Krishnendhu S, and Nidheesh Kumar PP. The BOD elections were held in January.
