Agreement inked to finance modern medical equipment in Oman’s Buraimi Governorate

The Directorate General of Health Services in Al Buraimi Governorate has signed an agreement with Ooredoo to finance the purchase of modern medical equipment for Al Buraimi Hospital and Al Buraimi Health Complex.

Muscat – The agreement was signed by Dr. Majid bin Rashid Al Muqbali, Director General of Health Services in Al Buraimi, and Aisha bint Salem Al Shaili, Head of Social Responsibility at Ooredoo.

As part of the agreement, Al Buraimi Hospital’s general surgery department will receive an advanced surgical laser device designed to treat various digestive system conditions. Additionally, the Al Buraimi Health Complex will receive a shockwave therapy device, thereby expanding the range of treatments available to patients in the area.

The initiative is a significant step in improving the healthcare infrastructure of Al Buraimi, with the new equipment expected to enhance the efficiency of medical treatments and reduce waiting times for patients. It will also contribute to improving the overall healthcare environment, ensuring that residents receive high-quality medical services.
