MUSCAT: The Oman Football Association (OFA) on Saturday held an Annual General Assembly at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors, the Secretary-General, members of the Legal Committees, a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, and representatives of the Asian Football Confederation.
During the meeting, Sheikh Salim Al Wahaibi, Chairman of OFA, who is concluding his tenure, thanked the board, clubs and footballer lovers in the country for the support offered over the years.

“The ongoing partnership between the Federation and the clubs is the foundation for the success and development of football in the Sultanate of Oman. We urge everyone to continue working together and cooperating fruitfully to achieve the Federation’s goals and enhance the status of Omani football at the international level,” he added.
Al Wahaibi was the chairman of OFA since 2016 and was re-elected in 2021. The OFA elections to elect the new board for 2025-2029 will be held on June 25, 2025.
