MUSCAT: Oman on Wednesday welcomed a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The proposal was initiated by the United States of America and the talks between the two countries at a meeting hosted by Saudi Arabia.
“Oman appreciates the Saudi efforts to resolve disputes and address differences of viewpoints. It also appreciates all initiatives seeking to resolve wars and conflicts,” the statement said.
