MUSCAT : The affected areas include the Normandy region in the French Republic, the Lisbon province in Portugal, and the Puerto Rico region.
The ban follows a recommendation from the competent veterinary authority, aimed at protecting public health and animal welfare.
The decision is effective immediately and will remain in place until the underlying issue prompting the ban is resolved.
