MUSCAT : The decision, based on the Veterinary Quarantine Law (Royal Decree No. 45/2004) and its executive regulations, as well as the recommendation of the competent veterinary authority, reverses a previous ban outlined in Ministerial Resolution No. 86/2000.

Article One of the Resolution emphasises that while the ban has been lifted, the importation of live animals from Yemen will be subject to specific conditions outlined in the resolution. The relevant authorities have been tasked with ensuring that the decision is implemented appropriately in their respective areas of responsibility.
