Muscat: The decline was driven by lower prices across mining, manufacturing, and utility sectors.
- The mining and quarrying group saw a 0.1% dip, with crude oil and natural gas prices slipping by the same margin. Stone and sand products fell 0.7%, while mineral ore products dropped 1.5%.
- Manufacturing prices declined 3.8%, led by a 10.3% drop in transportable goods. However, food, beverages, and textiles saw a 2.6% increase, while metal products, machinery, and equipment rose 5.3%.
- The electricity production group recorded a 5.2% decrease, while water production prices fell 4.4%.
