Muscat – The platform, which integrates over 55 government institutions – including 41 in its first phase – was launched at the recently concluded ‘Together We Progress’ forum. It serves as a unified central system with multiple windows to receive suggestions, complaints, reports and inquiries related to government services.

Dr. Amal bint Talib Al-Jahouri, Director of the Media Department at the Shura Council, emphasized the platform’s importance in enhancing community participation, aligning with the Royal orders to launch a dedicated platform for citizens to interact with government institutions. She stressed that the platform is a step towards fulfilling Oman’s Vision 2040 by improving government efficiency and transparency.
The Tajawob platform is designed to be user-friendly, with accessibility features for people with disabilities. It supports an intuitive interface, keyboard navigation, and even sign language visual aids for the hearing impaired. Additionally, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are employed to process requests efficiently, prioritizing urgent matters and ensuring quick resolutions.

Mubarak bin Khamis Al Hamdani, a social researcher and policy specialist, highlighted that Tajawob represents a shift towards a more interactive and efficient government. The platform consolidates all complaints and suggestions in one system, making the process more systematic, transparent, and accessible. It encourages active participation, which is vital in a society with advanced levels of education and expertise, he explained.

The platform, available in both Arabic and English, can be accessed via a website (https://tajawob.om) and soon through a mobile application. It also includes provisions for tracking submissions and receiving notifications about the status of requests.
