MUSCAT : This significant participation aims to strengthen international tourism relations, highlight Oman’s diverse tourism offerings, and promote investment opportunities in the country’s thriving tourism sector.

The event, considered one of the largest international tourism exhibitions, will offer a platform for exchanging experiences and developments in the tourism industry.

Oman’s participation comes as a confirmation of its plans to develop the tourism sector, enhance its status as a global tourism destination and introduce its tourism components, products, services and experiences. It also highlights its aims to attract more tourists from European markets in general, and to promote investment opportunities in the tourism sector through partnerships and agreements in related areas.

The current edition of the exhibition includes 55 tourism and hotel establishments from Oman, as well as four strategic partners: Oman Air, Oman Airports, Omran Group, and the national travel operator ‘Visit Oman’.

Haitham bin Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion and Official Spokesperson at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, pointed out that Oman’s participation in this exhibition will enhance its position on the world tourism map, introducing the investment opportunities and tourism potential that the Sultanate of Oman possesses, while exploring new ways to enhance cooperation with Germany and the participating countries.

It is worth noting that the ITB Berlin 2025 exhibition will cover a wide range of interests and will include several conferences and discussion panels that will address latest developments in the global tourism sector, including digital innovations, sustainable tourism, and advanced travel experiences with a focus on future trends in the industry.
