Muscat – Organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the forum aims to enhance communication and interaction between the government and society, providing a platform for citizens to voice their opinions, suggestions, and concerns in a participatory environment.

The two-day forum features two major discussion sessions focusing on the economy and development axis, exploring topics such as the upcoming five-year plan, economic diversification, investment, and the role of investment in strengthening the national economy.

In addition, the forum includes five dialogue sessions addressing key areas of national importance: governorate development and its impact on the economy, the future of professions and jobs, the retirement system, culture, sports, youth, and the future of economic diversification sectors.

His Excellency Sheikh Al Fadhl Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers affirmed that the ‘Together We Progress’ Forum is an essential initiative to deepen community partnership through direct dialogue. He highlighted that this aligns with the vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, emphasising the importance of listening to the public’s opinions and aspirations in shaping comprehensive national development.
