Muscat: Digital Private School is proud to announce that its students participated in the World Scholar’s Cup 2025 Regional Round, which took place at the British School Muscat on 7th – 8th February.

This prestigious global academic competition brings together young scholars from various schools in Muscat to engage in debate, collaborative writing, and multidisciplinary challenges. The event fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and a love for learning.

Under the guidance of Ms Zeinab Amin and Mr Moses Imo, the 38 participating students have undergone rigorous preparation in areas such as science, history, social studies, literature, and the arts, aligned with this year’s competition theme. Through interactive training sessions, mock debates, and research activities, the students honed their analytical and communication skills to compete against some of the brightest young minds in the region.

Speaking about participation, Ms. Elisabeth Craig, Principal of DPS, stated, “We are immensely proud of our students for embracing this challenge. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and pursuit of knowledge exemplify the core values of Digital Private School. We look forward to seeing them showcase their talents on a the international stage as a few students move on to the global round.”

The World Scholar’s Cup is more than just a competition; it provides students an opportunity to explore global issues, develop leadership abilities, and connect with an international community of scholars. The top-performing teams from the Muscat regional round will earn a spot in the Global Rounds held later this year, leading up to the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
