Muscat – A total of 22 candidates are vying for positions on the committee, promising a range of improvements and initiatives for the club.

The ISC serves as the representative body for all Indians in Oman and is the only officially recognized institution for the Indian diaspora operating under the Ministry of Social Development. It offers a wide array of cultural, sporting, and social activities for its over its members.

Established in 1977, the ISC has expanded significantly and now includes three branches in Salalah, Sohar, and Sur. Furthermore, 29 linguistic wings operate under its umbrella, enabling Indians of various ethnicities to maintain and celebrate their regional traditions.

The ISC, which functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Development, serves as the sole officially recognized institution for the Indian community in Oman. The club provides a wide range of cultural, sporting, and social activities for its members and has grown to include 29 linguistic wings across the country. With branches in Salalah, Sohar, and Sur, the ISC plays a crucial role in connecting and supporting Indians of various ethnicities throughout Oman.
