MUSCAT : This funding will support a direct interconnection project with the Sultanate of Oman, bringing the total cost to more than RO 269.2 million.
The ambitious initiative involves constructing two 400-kilovolt power lines spanning 530 kilometers. These lines will connect the Al-Silaa station—affiliated with the Electricity Interconnection Authority in the United Arab Emirates—to the new Ibri station that the Authority will establish in Oman’s Al-Dhahirah Governorate.
