MUSCAT : These initiatives, developed in partnership with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, were introduced as part of the outcomes of the development cycle of strategic directions, which seeks to expand the base of economic diversification in line with national goals.

The announcement took place during a closing ceremony attended by His Excellency Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, and His Excellency Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the OCCI Board of Directors. The event also saw the participation of members from the OCCI Board of Directors, sectoral committee heads, and specialists from relevant authorities.
In his address, H.E. Faisal Al Rawas highlighted that these initiatives are part of OCCI’s ongoing commitment to supporting the private sector and enhancing its role in Oman’s national economy. He pointed out that the development cycle had brought together experts, business owners, and stakeholders to ensure that these programs and projects align with the Chamber’s strategic objectives and contribute to the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which focuses on achieving sustainable economic development.
Zakaria bin Abdullah Al Saadi, CEO of OCCI, explained that the development cycle reflected a fresh approach, fostering joint work between public and private sectors to develop initiatives that bolster the national economy. He noted that the workshop held in cooperation with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit ensured that the Chamber’s strategic directions were aligned with national priorities.
