Muscat – Located on the road connecting the Wilayats of Yanqul and Sohar in the Al Dhahirah Governorate, the project is anticipated to be completed within one year.

Eng. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al Hashemi, Director of Yanqul Municipality Department, provided details about the project, stating that it covers a total area of 120,704 square meters, with approximately 65,000 square meters allocated for development. The project is strategically located at Al Nahda Square along the Sohar-Yanqul Road.

The total cost of the Itlalat Yanqul project is estimated at RO 1.68 million and includes a range of facilities designed to cater to diverse age groups. These facilities will feature expansive green spaces, an open theatre, cafes, playgrounds, water fountains, walking paths, and designated barbecue areas. Additionally, the project will offer prayer rooms and other amenities to enhance the overall visitor experience.
This project is part of Al Dhahirah Governorate’s broader initiative to enhance recreational services, expand green spaces, and boost local investment. The development is expected to showcase the region’s natural beauty and provide a valuable contribution to the area’s sustainable growth.
