Muscat – These winds are expected to affect most governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
According to the Met office, the rising wind activity is expected to result in increased sea waves along the coasts of western Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman. Waves could reach up to a maximum height of 2.5 meters.
There are also chances for the rise of dust and dirt on desert and open areas, which may lead to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility.
