Muscat – The event aims to offer a unique experience with a variety of entertainment, cultural, and social activities catering to all age groups, further cementing the Wilayat’s status as a prominent tourist destination in Oman.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali Akaak, Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, stated that the season aims to enhance social and economic development within the Wilayat. He explained that the key objective is to highlight the area’s rich cultural and environmental heritage, support small businesses and productive families, and promote the tourism and investment opportunities that Jalan Bani Bu Hassan offers.
The event will feature a range of activities, including a local market supporting small business owners and productive families, as well as a heritage village showcasing traditional crafts and folk arts. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to camel races, four-wheel drive challenges, and sports championships. Cultural activities will include poetry evenings, theatrical performances, and fine arts and photography exhibitions, alongside a special corner for creativity and innovation aimed at highlighting the talents of young people.

According to the Wali, the second edition of Tahayem Winter Season represents a fusion of heritage and development. It seeks to leverage the Wilayat’s natural and cultural resources for sustainable development, strengthen community ties and stimulate economic activity.
It is pertinent to note that the first edition of the Tahayem Winter Season attracted over 300,000 visitors in 2024.
