MUSCAT : The agreement, inked today in Muscat, is a collaborative effort with the Green Universe Foundation and aims to benefit orphans, the elderly, foster and alternative families, and youth hostels under the Child Care Centre and Youth Hostels.
The initiative seeks to collect data on these vulnerable groups to implement solar energy solutions that not only enhance environmental and social sustainability but also reduce monthly consumption costs.
The memorandum was signed by Ms. Maani bint Abdullah Al Busaidi, Director General of Family Development at the Ministry of Social Development, and Eng. Sumaya bint Nasser Al Rawahi, CEO of the Green Universe Foundation.
