Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Oman has carried out a successful operation in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, resulting in the seizure of 1,570 prohibited items. The goods were found in a commercial shop that specialized in selling natural herbs but was caught engaging in the sale of banned products that are prohibited from circulation in the market.

Following a series of field visits to local markets, CPA authorities uncovered the shop’s violation of the Consumer Protection Law. The seized goods, which contravene regulations set by the Chairman of the Authority, were confiscated in an effort to maintain market integrity and ensure consumer safety.
