MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Wednesday issued a Royal Decree promoting Brigadier General Dr. Saif bin Zaher bin Saif Al Salmi to the rank of Major General and appointing him as Head of the Special Medical Unit Affairs in the Royal Court Affairs.
Major General Dr. Saif led the medical team of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour. He was also conferred with the Order of Royal Commendation (First Class).
