Muscat: The seven-year Sukuk, carrying an annual profit rate of 4.8%, will open for subscription tomorrow, Sunday, and close on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
The Sukuk, compliant with Islamic Sharia, will be issued on December 30, 2024, and profits will be distributed semi-annually on June 30 and December 30 until its maturity date on December 30, 2031.
Open to both domestic and international investors, the Sukuk can be subscribed through competitive bidding during the subscription window. Investors must first obtain an investor number via the Muscat Clearing and Depository Company’s website or Oman Shares app at least one day before submitting applications to the designated collection banks listed in the issuance prospectus.
