The Authority held the event at its headquarters in Airport Heights, featuring discussion sessions and lectures with specialized health consultants. These sessions focused on enhancing employee awareness of public health, disease prevention and positive thinking, enabling them to tackle challenges in the workplace and in daily life with a constructive mindset.
Throughout this year, the Authority launched several health initiatives aimed at creating a healthy and safe work environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and institutional excellence while improving performance efficiency. The Authority’s institutional excellence program emphasizes measures to ensure employees maintain good health and possess the skills necessary to align with the Authority’s objectives.
The initiatives implemented this year included offering periodic medical check-ups during working hours to ensure employees’ physical health, conducting workshops on first aid, proper nutrition, general health care, and mental well-being. Employees were also guided on coping with work-related stress and adopting a positive outlook on work and life in general.
In line with these initiatives, the Authority equipped its headquarters with first aid kits, medical devices for monitoring blood sugar, blood pressure, and temperature levels, and established a mini-pharmacy stocked with medication for seasonal illnesses. Employees were trained and certified as licensed first responders to assist their colleagues, families, and friends, contributing to community service beyond official work responsibilities.
These initiatives positively impacted employees by enhancing productivity, expediting task completion, strengthening social relationships and creating a supportive environment that promotes employee well-being.
