Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman exported 256.3 million barrels of oil by the end of October 2024, with an average price per barrel calculated at USD 82.6, according to data from the National Center for Statistics and Information.

Oil exports accounted for 84.6% of the Sultanate’s total oil production, which stood at 303.1 million barrels. Crude oil production witnessed a 6.6% decline, reaching 232 million barrels, while oil condensate production increased by 0.2%, recording 71 million barrels. The average daily oil production during this period stood at 993,900 barrels.

China maintained its position as the largest importer of Omani oil, with exports reaching 241 million barrels—up 2.4% from last year. South Korea followed with 5.7 million barrels, a remarkable increase of 102.3%. Japan ranked third, importing 3.9 million barrels, reflecting a sharp 49.8% decline, while exports to India dropped by 26.3% to 2 million barrels.
