Muscat: Oman marks a significant milestone as it celebrates 15 years of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States, highlighting the success of the deal in bolstering economic, cultural, and political relations between the two nations.
The FTA has been pivotal in helping the United States become Oman’s second-largest foreign direct investor, with investments reaching approximately RO 5 billion by the end of Q2 2024. This mutual economic partnership was further strengthened with a notable trade exchange of RO 412.5 million by May 2024.
