Muscat – The inspections, conducted in collaboration with the joint inspection team and supported by the Inspection Unit of the Security and Safety Services, resulted in the identification of multiple violations across various sectors.
The Ministry reported that 518 labour violation cases have been reported to the public prosecution. Other infractions found during the inspections include 1,270 who had left their jobs and whose residency had expired, 69 who worked for non-employers, 148 workers engaged in regulated professions without the required licenses, and 64 cases of individuals working on their own account without proper permits, .
