MUSCAT : In his clarification, the Governor confirmed that a company has made a substantial investment of RO 10 million in an integrated project aimed at supporting the food and tourism security sector.
The project will also contribute to increasing the percentage of green cover in the region through advanced technologies. The initiative will also include sales and marketing outlets and a garden, part of which will focus on cultivating flowers.
H.E. Al Kindi emphasised that the entire project is fully funded by the company and will create opportunities for small enterprises, support local content, and contribute to the creation of jobs for the local community.
The post from the Governor reads as follows: “Unfortunately, the news is incorrect. A company invested 10 million OMR in an integrated project that supports the food and tourism security sector and contributes to increasing the percentage of green cover with advanced technologies, sales and marketing outlets, and a garden, part of which is for flowers. It is fully funded by the company and will provide opportunities for small enterprises and enhance local content and employment.”
