MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday bestowed the ‘Oman Civil Order’ (Second Grade) on Her Excellency Dr. Laila Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, marking the 54th Glorious National Day and in appreciation to her role in carrying out the national duty.
In a statement issued on her social media account on X (previously Twitter), Dr. Laila said: “Today, I was honored and proud to receive from the generous hands of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik the Oman Civil Order of the Second Class. I pray to God Almighty to grant us continued success in serving beloved Oman, and to live up to the expectations. May God protect Oman and His Majesty the Sultan.”
