Muscat – The exercise, designed to test and enhance emergency response readiness, will involve a noticeable movement of participating teams and volunteers within the terminal and apron areas.

During the exercise, members of the emergency response teams will simulate a range of emergency scenarios, and volunteers will be engaged in evacuation procedures as part of the drill.

Oman Airports has assured that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of airport operations and minimize any disruption to air traffic or surrounding areas.

This exercise is a part of ongoing efforts by Oman Airports and PDO to meet the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) regulations for emergency preparedness. It aims to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans and evaluate the coordination and readiness of all entities involved in the airport’s emergency management protocols.
