Muscat – The celebration, which was held at the parade field of the RGO Command, included the graduation of a new batch of soldiers and impressive military displays. The event showcased the high level of training and discipline, reflecting the ongoing development of the RGO under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.



The parade included synchronized movements, forming the phrases ‘Our determination never weakens’ and ‘Guards’, which highlighted the RGO’s commitment and excellence. A display of slow marching accompanied by military music further exemplified the discipline and skill of the RGO personnel.
During the ceremony, H.E. Al Shraiqi awarded certificates to the top graduates of the new recruits course. Soldier Ali bin Mohammed Al Faraji secured first place overall, with other accolades going to soldier Abdullah bin Saeed Al Hosni for pistol shooting, soldier Omar bin Juma Al Ameri for rifle shooting, soldier Maher bin Shambeeh Al Balushi for marching and endurance, and soldier Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Kharousi for physical fitness.

The Inspector General also presented the Special Service Medal to several RGO members in recognition of their dedicated service and loyalty to the nation. The event concluded with a parachute demonstration by the Royal Guard’s free-fall team and a display of military music, celebrating the enduring commitment of the RGO.

The celebration was attended by various dignitaries, including ministers, military commanders, retired officers, and military attachés from friendly nations, highlighting the significance of the occasion within the context of national pride and service.
