Muscat – The ROP issued a notice to apprise all motorists of its decision to prevent movement of trucks to prevent traffic congestion on key roads. Truck drivers are urged to comply with these regulations in the public interest.
As per the notice, truck passage will be prohibited during the following times:
- Thursday: 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM
- Saturday: 04:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The restrictions apply to major routes in the Muscat Governorate, including the Al Dakhiliyah Road leading from Muscat to Bidbid Bridge and the Al Batinah Highway extending from Muscat to Shinas.
The Royal Oman Police emphasizes the importance of adhering to these guidelines to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance public welfare.
