MUSCAT : This innovative initiative aims to simplify and expedite import procedures for businesses operating in Oman.

The pre-disclosure service allows importers to electronically submit information about their goods prior to arrival.

The pre-disclosure service is accessible through the Oman Customs website:
https://customs.gov.om/esw/jsf/secure/esw/common/Login.xhtml.

To ensure secure access, the system utilizes PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) credentials. Users can log in using a Smart Card/USB Token or Mobile PKI.

Here is how to login with Smart Card/USB Token /Mobile PKI

• Login using this method requires Civil Identity/Resident Card issued by Directorate General of Civil Status, Royal Oman Police or USB Token device issued by Information Technology Authority (ITA).

• Please contact call centre (refer contact us section in www.customs.gov.om) if you encounter any problems with Identity Card or USB Token device or login.

• If your Civil Identity/Resident Card is not active. Please contact relevant issuing authority for necessary procedure.

• As per customs announcement, Commercial Entity will be allowed accessing Bayan using PKI credential/Login. Please do needful and make sure all registered users have PKI enabled ID Card/USB Token to access Bayan.

• Login using Mobile PKI method requires Mobile Subscriber SIM card is PKI enabled and must be registered with his Civil Identity/Resident Card. You may contact Information Technology Authority (ITA) for activation and for more details.
