Muscat – As per a statement from the Oman Astronomical Society, astronomy enthusiasts have a golden opportunity to follow the event in the skies of the Sultanate of Oman.
The planet Saturn will undergo an occultation, temporarily disappearing behind the moon.
The occultation will begin in Oman at 10:22 pm, and Saturn is expected to reappear at 11:37 pm. During this time, the moon will be 90 percent illuminated, and Saturn will have a brightness of 0.7 degrees.
