MUSCAT: Telecommunications giant Omantel has appointed Ibrahim Said Badar Al Eisri as the temporary board member in place of His Excellency Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, who has been appointed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, as the Chairman of the newly formed Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
Al Eisri has over 16 years of experience in different sectors including Telecommunication, oil and gas and financial investments. According to sources, Al Eisti will be in the board until the next annual general body meeting scheduled to take place in March 2021.
