Muscat – His Majesty also commended the performance of government institutions in addressing files that constitute national priorities.
His Majesty stressed the importance of developing mechanisms to measure the level of satisfaction among beneficiaries of government services and aspects related to simplifying procedures, in a way that contributes to improving the services provided and improving the impressions of beneficiaries of those services.
The session also saw the cabinet approving the National Program for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Digital Technologies, and the implementation of its projects and initiatives, so as to raise Oman’s ranking in the Government Readiness Index for Artificial Intelligence. This will foster adoption and localisation of technologies and legislation related to it, thereby enhancing productivity of economic and development sectors and increase the number of emerging technology companies specialized in developing local solutions in this field
