MUSCAT: Oman is using the internationally approved PCR testing for coronavirus cases, while there are “calls” to use rapid testing in the country, Minister of Health said on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said the effectiveness of rapid testing needs to be reviewed. “There are calls to use the rapid examination devices but they need to be reviewed, as we are using the internationally approved PCR examination,” he added.
