MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth visited the training camp of national football team ahead of their opening match against Iraq at the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
Sayyid Theyazin met the players and officials at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Saturday as the team will travel to Basra on September 2 and the match will take place on September 5.
During his interaction with the players, Sayyid Theyazin expressed confidence in the team. His Highness also reviewed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match in Basra.
