MUSCAT: As part of containing the spread of coronavirus, authorities have activated checkpoints in Dhofar Governorate, Jabal Akhdar, Jabal Shams, Masirah, and Duqm from 12 pm today until July 3.
On Thursday, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health said that the lockdown of Dhofar Governorate means a total shutdown and that none will be allowed entry or exit.
Dhofar has so far reported 72 new coronavirus cases.
