MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has refuted rumours that its traffic related outlets will be reopened from May 31.
In a statement issued online on Thursday, ROP denied social media rumours regarding the reopening of traffic services in its service halls.
Since March 23, due to the coronavirus outbreak, ROP closed all police service halls until further notice. “There is no truth in what is being circulated on reopening of ROP traffic services in the service halls as of Sunday, May 29. We would like to inform the public to take information from official sources only,” ROP said in a statement on Thursday.
