India have repatriated almost 2,300 citizens from Oman so far. Last week, the Indian Embassy have announced more evacuation flights to take its nationals home. “In the first phase, we will be offering these 40 tickets to those Indians in distress. As India announced 15 more flights starting from May 28, the tickets will be offered to the stranded passengers going in these flights,” Nishad said.
“Team TAS has set a criteria while evaluating the applicants. Those applying for the ticket must also get an official approval from the embassy to travel. We will ensure that the most deserving applicant gets the ticket,” Nishad added.
