MUSCAT: Muscat governorate has the highest confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Sultanate including a death, according to a data revealed by the Government Communication Centre (GC).
According to the data, among the total 210 cases in the country, Muscat alone has 149 confirmed cases and one death. A 72-year-old Omani citizen died on late Tuesday, Ministry of Health had said. 12 new cases were recorded on Wednesday in Muscat.

Al Dakhiliya Governorate is second with a total of 20 cases. On Wednesday, the region registered three new Covid-19 cases.

Meanwhile, Musandam governorate recorded the first confirmed case on Wednesday.
