MUSCAT – The new facility is expected to improve access to medical care in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi by providing a wide range of general and specialised services closer to the local community.
The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Zaher bin Salim Al Salmi, Deputy Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority.
The health complex houses 16 general and specialised clinics, alongside laboratory and radiology services, a pharmacy, oral and dental healthcare, antenatal care, birth spacing services, child healthcare and immunisation programmes.
It also provides services for chronic disease management, health promotion, physiotherapy, elderly care and home healthcare, offering a broad range of medical services under one roof.
The facility is equipped with a medical laboratory, physiotherapy unit, X-ray room, pharmacy, meeting hall and administrative offices to support healthcare delivery and improve operational efficiency.
The opening marks a new phase in the development of healthcare services in Al Mudhaibi, where medical services date back to 1978. Construction of the modern polyclinic began in 2024, culminating in its official opening in 2026.
