MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police has increased its patrols across the country to stop gatherings in public in a step to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
This comes following the directives by the Supreme Committee that banned gatherings in public places amid the spread of COVID-19.
In a statement issued online ROP said it has taken measures to prevent gatherings by both citizens and residents in public places including beaches. “Public must strictly adhere to the decisions taken by the Supreme Committee,” ROP said in a statement.
